yes, the streamyx at home has been done deal...
had been checking my mails and FB pretty regularly these days,
had been having easy access to my blog these past few weeks too...
and the more recently, had discovered the joy of downloading and live streaming as well...
limewire, Qvod, you name it...
so apparently now, waiting for snail episodes of honey & clover on astro shuangxing is inadequate to feed my appetite for back-to-back dramas... especially not so now that i'm in a 5-day no work marathon... LOLzzz...^^
so back to my streaming frenzy, i logged into tom365 and tried my luck clicking on characters that i may recognise here and there, and tahdah, i found Honey & Clover.. but then guess what, i saw Grey's Anatomy, and Gossip Girl too. Finally, the ultimate joy and reason why i'd start my endeavour in getting a new lappie and streamyx at home... =]
so, hmmm... tough choice tough choices... of coz, i dived into H&C. u finish what u started rite? was hoping i'd get to the bottom of it before the series does on astro. but then, u know how sometimes things are just not meant to be. the buffering took too long, and i strayed...
without a second thought, gossip girl first season came next.
hmmm... now, after just 2 episodes of it, i think i pretty much get what the series is all about. of acceptance, of being in the desired clique, of reinforcing yourself with 'attitude', i guess we all know where this is heading... it's like what, the earliest i can think of, 90210 but in an entirely Different ballgame... (here, the clothes alone are so to-die-for... what blake lively wears, hmm... that alone is worth all the snickering i need to put myself through..)

but really, the question here is... i mean, this is me we're talking about here. y did i choose GG over G'sA? but then again, y not?
the prospect of watching something new, as opposed to something you know you can watch on the telly. the prospect of seeing for myself, why some guy frens of mine would have finished season 2 by now. the prospect of not losing out by not catching up on the latest 'it-show'. the prospect of being able to say on my own, whether this entire 2-seasons' worth of show is worth watching.
but hey, given the pretty quick streaming time and all the free time i have in these few days... i wouldnt think it'd be any trouble at all.
so what i snicker and snort a lot through the show... sometimes you need to throw yourself at some silly, sporadic, spores of entertainment. LiFe would be pretty dull otherwise, no?

vs.

another itch scratched...
Seriously ? GG over grey's ... Shall see after a few more GG episodes...:)
ReplyDeleteGd choice indeed...GG is awesomely addictive...
ReplyDeletehmmm... a sceptic, and a believer... that's 1-1
