it keeps your mind off the daily grind... you know, work, and all things daily ...
the least it could do, divert your attention a `lil... to things less ordinary and magical.

.. goin for a jog in some green lung helps too... the serenity and amidst that the rush of the run too... when u have the best of both worlds together, the feeling to me: is Contentment.
.. planning for a trip. hmm... nothing beats the high of this one. not when you've been restricted for so long a time... let loose and just go!

Migraine and Rain...
ughh... too lazy even for me.

the day started off pretty swell... with the boss being away for some few days... and it being a day preceeding the great weekend.. yay~!
what culd go wrong?
~So wrong!!!

the body went through a few collectively different phase today.. in fact, in just few short hours, it went from blurry-right-eyed, to throbbing left-brain-ache, and hit crescendo with nauseating urge to throw up nothings... which i did.. albeit at the parking lot.
great, they do not require any cleaning, and they dried up pretty fast under the glaring sun. it was, after all.. 12 something, P.M.

a quick stop at mediviron, and i was diagnosed with migraine... i was to go check my eyesight (went blank at the question on when was your last eye check?) and i was to never skip breakfast again.. . Fine. all was well, i got my time slip, and off i went steering my wheels towards home... more specifically, my bed. ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.............



but before all those drama in the morning....

i had taken a liking to The Killers' singles lately... and most recently, their soundtrack tie-in with the Twilight Saga: New Moon.... their 'a white demon love song'....
another haunting and incredulous one from them..
as how humans work (as i presume goes for all humans), one thing leads to another quite naturally, and curiosity often does, gets the better of us.... i wikied on the twilight saga... and found detailed info on all four books. apparently.. all four books published had long been bestsellers... and more recently the second book too, made it to moviedom. ... i did catch news on the inhumanly pretty robert pattinson starring as edward cullen, the love of protagonist isabella swan... however, i had sheepishly, brushed them aside as mere fads out to win more children book titles, and perhaps bank on the waves of pattinson's charms.

so wrong~! again...
as i am now totally hooked on bella and edward...
i had intended to check the mph online for the price of the saga...
as fate would have it, their server was on reconstruction...
next thing that came along, was my search at google which yielded twilight saga ebooks ...
now how great is that? could that truely be it?
Definitely; a resounding YES!
now, all four books are in my possession.. . albeit in pdf forms...
easily taken care of, with our comcolor at the showroom, in place magnificently, waiting for the day to come where i'd be utilising its powerful speed and features, to cut me a neat paperback, with all 270 plus pages of the first book nicely arranged into 69 sheets of A4... :)

the rest will follow, i am sure... for i have now, finished devouring close to 70% of the first book.

how some things achieve success of such magnitude is of anyone's guess..
how some things manage to catch my infatuation is even more bewildering...
timing is of great essence, i believe.
for if i have not the time to google this morning, my fat for twilight would not have blossomed so feverishly...

hmmm.... my weekend to-date.. . .. .

work fridays are usually off at 5pm.. Sharp. Yup, me and colleagues make sure we log off dutifully at 5 sharp come each flyday... .

but this friday, i stayed back a little and helped audrey a bit on the sebuthargas... not anything out of obligation, more to feelin' like it. audrey. she's my comrade at the office. Great..

met up with bestie for some late dinner slash supper right after... at MY honeymoon, their kepong branch.. cuz i figured it'd be less rushy to get to their 1U branch... and we culd hang around for longer too..

with the regular media prima advert booklets lying around the haus, i'd been wanting to get my hands on those few mouth-watering-looking desserts on their pages...

yeh, i sorta ordered what i saw on their pages... their mustavs i guess. (pictures hijacked from some flogger's site..u knw there's always plenty of 'em around the net -tq!) behold, the Durian pancake and the Sweet balls coated with crushed peanut. :)

and no, im not turning into a flogger anytime soon...

the desserts are not too bad at all... a lil' pricey, and they hav nuthin' other than desserts. make sure u go on filled stomach. dont say i didnt warn ya...

the only complaint me and bestie had was, Obviously, their endless plays of ballads from (old) boybands~! Ugghh!!!!.... BSB, westlife, boyzone, even i-swear came out!!

anyhow.... woke up feelin like a hundred dollars on saturday morning... :)

everything seems to be so Alive and Kicking~!!!

nope, had no caffeine fix or beer-out the nite before..

simply, the weekends are just Great!!!

got a call from Zuk soon after... my, my, this pregger is really feelin free and itchy these days... and so we loafed around at jusco, kepong... did some brunch and snooted around for some materna clothings.... haha~! and i learned that Enfa Materna is for the pregnant lady, not the kid... ;)

some light shoppin around the supermarket, and i ended up 60 bucks poorer... darn the supermarts! they're eville~!!!!!

drove mom to KB for some fruits and prayer items for tomorrow. yup, it's Chor-Yat tomorrow.

and mom even ajak-ed me for a trip to the temple tomorrow... for the 'nine emperor gods' prayin fest. tink i got that right...

'i'll see', i told her... sis and hubs will be taking her anyway....

jog session was cancelled... i do admit i was being a bit laidback about that. but the skies gave me enuff reason to! heheheh.... i do realize too, that once bestie goes away for some time, it'd be somewhat not the same... especially the weekends... especially the jogs at frim.

but heck with it.

3 months is still bearable.. i guess. somehow it has to.

but anytime longer than that? or something permanent? boy, i'd hav to make some huge mindset adjustments on that.

i guess, hence all the earlier post on nothing stays the same forever... :)

and hence also, i especially liked tonight's bucking session....

really, nothing stays the same forever! and we tend to overlook that so often in our lifetime.

not implying anything here. not hinting any either.

just clear cut that: i need to remind myself.

every moment is to be lived for.

even now.. at this hour. with the sky rumbling outside. (which reminds me of Combust's sukuru rumburu..) and mom religiously worshipping the psp outside... Sort of simply, refusing to let the moment go.

i'm sure these are all things that we are aware of.. but just that, every now and then, you'd wake up to a great day (note: Weekend), and feel that somewhat, LiFe's gushing with all sorts of possibilities, IF only you're earnest and posi+ive enuff to make it work !!

with that being said, Weekends are just GREAT~!! XD

kid again.. .

well, i cant remember much waht we did together as kids.... with the most vivid being mid-autumn festivals where we light candles at our back'yard'.... and that's about it (that, and also the part where we kneel there the next day to scrape off the cooled wax.. tsk!).
5 years apart make a world of a difference when one's a blur-12 and the other a happening-17..
=) Undeniably.. .


but now, lately, we've been Kids again....
and now with Yang in tow, it's legitimate for us to go wandering into places like the national zoo and this, the KL Bird Park... (just another stone's throw away from kepong.... graaeet!!)

(young) & reckless ? . .

driving home these 2 nights from dinners.. cruising down the bare LDP somewhat tipsy, Miley came on the airwaves.. . on both times, with her kinda infectious 'yeaahhyeahh, it's a party in the USA!' ..
i know, u know, she's a SYT... but seriously, her tunes though not thaat lasting, but still, sort of gets to you with her fresh crispy voice.. .
and this one, it has got some sort of edge to it... like .. being young, and reckless, stoopid, Loud.. just goofin' around making a fool of urself, havin' fun being the bottomline... :)
and yes, i think this one's kinda catchy too... with her 'yeaahhyeahh...' kinda outta-tunish....

so i tried lookin' her up on youtube.... my, my, miley sure has grown...




well, just to prove that this Tune IS, kinda hot after all... some clever soul got hold of it and turned it into a somewhat more meaningful version of it.... and now it's 'yeaahhyeahh, everything's gonna be okay!'....
well, if you just so happen to loathe miley, well then, maybe you could just take a look at this one. same tune, same catchy feel, with some whole load of well-meaning, positivey lyrics.... :)
